Our signature red Rhône blend results in a wine that is textured, complex, and compelling -one that can be enjoyed with food or on its own. This vintage is comprised of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 10% Petite Sirah.
Vineyard Notes
Our Turbine Red is Anaba’s take on a Rhône-style red blend. Each varietal is sourced from select family-owned vineyards within Sonoma County that bring their own unique flavor profiles and textures to this rich, compelling wine. Grenache provides bright red fruit and mouthwatering acidity, while Syrah adds body and notes of black plum and bramble. A light addition of Petite Sirah gives this blend an edge, adding layers of tannin, deep purple color, and structure.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Violet, clove, raspberry
Palate: Strawberry, black plum, sweet tobacco
Fiish: Cacao, toasted vanilla, smooth tannin
Each vintage, the blend on this wine changes which makes it extra fun to taste year after year. It is always one of Anaba's most requested wines!
