2021 Pinot Noir, Las Brisas Vineyard

Wildy dramatic with red plum, blood orange, and both floral and spice notes, this is a stunning expression of the Las Brisas Vineyard with Wine Critic Antonio Galloni calling it one of the finest wines he’s tasted from Las Brisas. Don’t miss this one!

Winemaker Notes

Over the years, we have gotten to know the potential of the fruit at the Las Brisas Vineyard. It’s fun to bring out its very expressive characteristics each vintage.

Vineyard Notes

The Las Brisas Pinot Noir is part of the Mahoney Estate located on the Sonoma side of the Carneros appellation. It is named for the winds that drive morning fog from the vineyards and welcome cooling breezes in the late afternoon. The predominantly clay soils are shallow, which combined with the influence of the nearby San Pablo Bay, yields remarkable fruit year after year.

This broad, creamy Pinot Noir delivers the goods. In fact, this is one of the finest wines I have tasted from Las Brisas.
