2021 Grenache, Flora Marie Vineyard

91 points - Vinous; Double Gold - San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Our first Single-Vineyard Grenache from Flora Marie Vineyard, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Aromas of bramble fruit on the nose, with bright and juicy notes of delicate cherry and rose petal finish with a nice, light finish with a hint of spice. It’s a very easy wine to drink!

About this wine

Boasting loads of juicy red fruits and a lively acidity the Flora Marie Grenache is a very easy wine to drink.  The fruit comes into the winery in beautiful condition and expresses itself wonderfully in the bottle.

The Flora Marie Vineyard has been the source for our wonderful Turbine Rosé for years now, so we decided it was time to make a 100% red Grenache from Flora Marie as well. Located off Eastside Road, the vineyard sits in both the Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley appellations, offering warmer days and cool nights. Grenache from this area is rare, but delicious.

Light to medium in body, this wine boasts incredibly bright and juicy red raspberries and cherry fruit flavors, with a crisp acidic finish with a hint of spice.  Serve this with pizza, pasta and poultry dishes for delightful pairings. It’s also great with roast veggies.
