About this wine

Introducing our new Turbine Chardonnay! Fresh, lively, and versatile – this wine is perfect for whatever Spring brings us. Pool-side sipping, or to pair with an elegant meal. Pair with burrata, peach, and tomato salad, gougères, or a sunny spring BBQ.

This Chardonnay is extra special. This wine was fermented and aged in stainless steel, leaving the Chardonnay to shine. We wanted to showcase a different style of Chardonnay and show just how dynamic this grape can be. Without the influence of oak, the fruit is the true star.

For this wine, we sourced from our estate vineyard, The J Mck Vineyard, and from the H. Klopp vineyard. This was the only wine that we made in 2020. We were able to closely monitor the fruit from both vineyards to ensure they were not affected by the fires.

J McK Estate Vineyard

The J McK Estate Vineyard is located on our winery property in Carneros. The vineyard name is derived from Proprietor John Sweazey’s children, John Michael and McKenna. The climate on the estate is influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. The cooling influence of the anabatic winds allows the grapes a longer hang time prior to harvest, to slowly develop intense flavors while adding brightness and acidity to the final wine.
